  • Description: The purpose of the module is to qualify the students within a cross-disciplinary project to identify, reflect upon and analyze a problem related to the subject areas of the education. Furthermore, to develop suggestions for solutions to the challenge concerning operations and supply chain management within the company. The project is characterized by practical and applied relevance as well as theoretical foundation.
  • Location: Campus Ballerup
  • Prerequisites: All the previous courses must have been passed. Admission requirements: - That the applicant has a relevant qualifying examination minimum at the level of a business academy education or relevant further adult education. - That the applicant has at least two years' of work experience after qualifying examination.

  • Exam info: Oral exam and reports
    Page number: Min. 40 - max. 60 standard pages (for a project prepared by one student). Page numbers are exclusive: title page / front page, table of contents, illustrations and appendices. A normal page is calculated for 2400 strokes incl. spaces. If the project is written by several (max. 3 students), it can be expanded progressively by a maximum of 10 pages per student. If the project is written several students it must be stated which contributions the individual has made to the project.
  • Objectives: A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
    - Reflect on the application and limitations of professional methods
    - Apply the subject area's theories and methods to a specific problem
    - Identify key issues for the company's operations and supply chain
    - Choose relevant theory and relevant methods to understand the problem and identify the causes of the problem
    - Select choice of method that ensure reliable data, valid analyzes, and solutions that actually work
    - Collect and analyze of data so that relationships between the project's problem and its causes are found
    - Understand what data is in a project within the operations and supply chain subject area and understand how to be critical of data in the collection
    - Communicate analysis results and a common thread between problem, causes and solutions
    - Describe and illustrate a solution in writing and through presentations
    - Plan solution implementation, including project planning, project organization design and change management
    - Formulate a specific project purpose and issue precisely and understandably
    - Carry out analyzes of the causes of the problem and develop effective and preferably innovative solutions

    - Argue for all choices and develop concrete recommendations for implementation
    - Apply the skills of the education in your own company / everyday life
    - Perspective and discuss applied theories and methods in relation to own practice
